Terms of use

It costs 1,980 yen (tax included, one-time purchase) and can be used on a compatible Mac owned by the purchaser. Register using the license key and email confirmation code from the purchase email. There is no set period for providing updates. You can receive the product from the purchase completion screen and purchase email.

1. Scope of application

These conditions apply to the use of Orqnote (hereinafter referred to as the "App") and the use of this page introducing the App. At the time of purchase, the sales terms and conditions displayed on the purchase screen will also apply. If the two differ, the sales terms at the time of purchase will take precedence.

2. License

Each Mac can try the app once, free for 7 days from first trial activation. Internet access is required to verify the trial period. Reinstalling does not extend it. No card is required and there are no automatic charges. Purchase and licence registration are required to continue afterwards. External API usage is charged separately during the trial too.

After the trial, the app is paid software. Purchasers may use it within the sales terms. The one-time purchase allows continued use of the purchased version on compatible Macs owned by the purchaser, with no limit on their number. There is no set end date for updates.

After the free trial, using the app requires the licence key in your purchase email and identity verification with a code sent to your purchase email address. Giving the key to someone else does not let them register a new Mac or receive official updates without access to the purchaser’s email.

The copyright and other rights of this application belong to the seller or legitimate rights holder. Included third party software is subject to its own license. For more detailsLicensesPlease check.

3. Prohibitions

• Redistribution, sale, rental, transfer of this application (except as permitted by law)
• Analysis, modification, and decompilation of this application (except to the extent permitted by law)
• Deletion of notices and rights notices included in this application and distributed materials
• Use for the purpose of infringing the rights of a third party
• Unauthorized access to this page or sales system, acts that place an excessive load on it

4. Operating environment and user responsibilities

The operating environment of this application isProduct pagewill be described in. Not all functions may work if the environment is not as described. Recording, input, and connection to external services require macOS access privileges and user settings.

When using API mode, the user is responsible for managing API keys and checking the contracts, fees, and terms of use of external services.

5. About recognition/formatting results

The results of voice recognition and AI text formatting will vary depending on the way you speak, surrounding sounds, model, and settings. We do not guarantee that all utterances will be accurately recognized and formatted. Please be sure to check important documents, contracts, and texts related to medical, legal, financial, etc. decisions by yourself.

6. Scope of warranty and liability

This application is provided as is. Seller will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the described functions operate, but does not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

We are not responsible for indirect damages or lost profits arising from the use of this app, except in cases where this is due to intentional or gross negligence on the part of the seller, or where restrictions cannot be imposed under the Consumer Contract Act or other laws and regulations.

7. Refund/Cancellation

Returns and refunds will be accepted under the following conditions:

• Returns or refunds for a change of mind are generally not accepted.
• Your statutory rights, including cancellation rights under the Consumer Contract Act, are not restricted.
• If the product is non-conforming (for example, if the described function does not work), we will investigate the situation and provide a corrected version or refund.
• For refund requests or technical issues, use the contact form and include your purchase email address and a description of the problem. Statutory time limits for making claims are not restricted by these terms.

8. Updates and Support

Check and install new versions from Updates in the app. Update information and files are verified with cryptographic signatures. Installation waits during recording, transcription or text cleanup. There is no set end date for updates. Without Developer ID signing or notarization, macOS may require confirmation or renewed permissions after first launch or an update. This is due to our signing method, not a setup mistake by the purchaser. We plan to obtain signing and notarization, but have no date yet. Purchasers do not need to register as developers. 9. License confirmation and cancellation

The app checks the purchase/registration/expiration status with the server at startup and at regular intervals. If confirmation is not possible, the last confirmed signed usage right will be retained for a certain period of time (14 days). If a refund, suspicious claim, or revocation is confirmed, we may refuse to register a new Mac, reacquire usage rights, or officially update. Users can unregister this Mac from the app's License screen. Settings, dictionaries, and history will not be deleted even after registration is cancelled.

10. Information on this page

The functions, screens, and numbers on this page have been confirmed at the time of writing. Screen photos include images. The verification numbers are results in a development environment and do not guarantee results in all environments.

11. Changes to conditions

These terms and conditions may be changed before and after the start of sales in accordance with changes in laws and regulations or the addition of functions. Important changes will be announced on this page. Changes that are disadvantageous to the purchaser will not apply retroactively to the terms and conditions at the time of purchase.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute, the court specified by law shall have the exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance.
